John manages the newly organized Authority Control team for Backstage Library Works. John comes to BSLW with a master's degree in Library Science from Brigham Young University and over twenty years of service in the library and library automation world. Six years were spent as a Cataloger and Reference Librarian for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and for the Salt Lake County Library System. The remaining years were spent at Dynix where he served as a Library Consultant, Team Programmer, Support Team Manager, Library Migration Project Manager and as a Service Assurance Manager for the Southeastern U.S. region.

John brings to Backstage library Works a library industry focused education, a strong understanding of consumer needs, years of supervisory experience and a rounded knowledge of the library automation industry. John's fourteen years at Dynix afforded him a multitude of work opportunities and his working library experience instills essential knowledge needed to communicate effectively with BSLW's client base.
